Parents Whose children have been sexually abused Community Group
This group is for parents whose children have been sexually abused. We welcome both Mothers and Fathers. Here, we can offer support to one another. We can vent, cry and lift each other up. No condemning or criticizing allowed. We are here for support. We LOVE (((HUGS))) !
If the police say don't call him, don't call him. He may be part of a larger network of pedophiles they are planning to arrest. That's just a guess. But there's a reason why they haven't arrested him yet. Even if it's a stupid reason. Even if someone is incompetent. Don't jeopardize your life and your children's lives.
Write back. Write all night long if you have to. Read other people's posts here and you will know that your compassion is needed. Do not give up. Five months is REALLY good -- you have made it FIVE MONTHS. Give yourself some BIG credit. Give yourself a hug. You have all our support!!
I am so glad to hear from you. Definitely call the marshals and ask them what they can tell you of their plans. Even then they may be unable to tell you -- how do they know you're not colluding with him to alert him that they are on their way? (Really! People do all kinds of crazy stuff, like that mom who fled to Mexico with her son who killed four people when he drove drunk. The marshals in your case have to protect their operation.) It is perfectly reasonable, though, to tell them everything you are experiencing -- the call to your home makes me shiver -- and to express your concern that he may be suspicious. Those are just facts, and it may help them to decide how fast to act.
Keep checking in, please!!!
I know it seems far fetched that he's involved with some other nefarious activity, but it's actually quite possible he was able to keep something completely hidden; these people are masters at secrets and deception. He may have a phone and/or computer you don't know about.
You're so right to be concerned about the 7 year old niece, and maybe the Marshalls need to be reminded of that too, and that you are finding it really hard to not take matters into your own hands. Be careful with what you do though, you know their plan, at least to some extent, and you don't want to find yourself in trouble for interfering with an investigation. Hang in there, please know you have done everything right and you can let things play out the way they need to so it's all above board for charges and court decisions/proceedings/convictions to stick. My heart really goes out to you, know we are all here supporting you.... {{{hugs}}}
