This group is for parents whose children have been sexually abused. We welcome both Mothers and Fathers. Here, we can offer support to one another. We can vent, cry and lift each other up. No condemning or criticizing allowed. We are here for support. We LOVE (((HUGS))) !
Does anyone know if I am entiled to see the findings of the CPS report? This was reported by me about the sexual abuse of my daughter by her grandmother.

You should be able to see the written report yes, but not the video in case you are called as a witness

I have taken advice by many and written formal complains. My husband, my mother and my sister also made out complains to support my complaint. I have sent this to the state house, a few advocates and to the governor. Next is the news because I have had enough. Record have been lost, but I have copies of about everthing. I have asked my hildren before I started and they want me to go all the way even if it turns out for the worst. I have both of thier councelors, both my husband and I's, and now our marriage councelors backing us all the way. BTW all of them wanted to say THANK YOU for this site and they all have written it down to give to other's that need support.

Good luck to you, in my state they said we are not allowed to be disclosed on the CPS report. Only a judge can order that, we are allowed to only know the results, but nothing else. So far CPS hasnt really helped me, they did put they feel there was sign of abuse and kids I have three had disclosed specific details about things their father had done to them but there was no physical exam taken by the police dept when I originally marched in there and reported the abuse. because it was only fondling involved the police said they only do the exams if there is vaginal or anal penetration. Since my ex ONLY-(i say this with sarcasm) had them giving him hand jobs and fingering their vaginas while jerking himself off as well in front of them no physical exam would do anything for us. My judge also called and talked to CPS supervisor during court and said they had substantial claims against him. meanwhile a year and a half later, i am still trying to fight him in court as he denies all such allegations and accuses me of planting these notions into my childrens head. So i have never actually seen the report, but my point is, even though it sounds as though the report was in our favor our court system is so jacked that there has to be actual without reasonable doubt---he is guilty...and as long as he denies everything, and the court doesnt want to spend the money and time to help us....GO FIGURE!

As soon as they finish conducting the investigation they will send you a letter with their findings.
