Good question, Broken. I'm not an admin, so I don't know how this works, but I'm pretty sure that if we made it private then NO one could find it -- i.e., not even the parents who seek our support.

Let's face it, predators will find a way to get in whether we're private or not. That is their best skill in life. There's no way to establish the credentials of anyone who joins this forum, so we have to act on faith. If predators troll the site to get their jollies, they well know already what we think of them. Further, they will see that they are not at all clever, despite their manipulations: their job is to trick kids into doing things that leave the kids in lasting physical and emotional pain. THAT is their crowning achievement as human beings. They are like poop. They only good that will come of them is that someday they will fertilize the soil. Finally, in death, they will have meaning.
