I did watch it on youtube. I dont understand why she said later on now she doesnt believe it, abuse happened, when after the video she was convinced it was abuse by father.
It does seem from the little girl reaction something happened to her.

Dr. Phil gave the dad a lie detector test that he passed. Ergo, she is now being shamed for thinking that it is still true. I seriously was so angry after watching these few videos of Dr. PHIL! They tried to make her look like a horrible person because she was concerned about things her daughter had said to her!

My step dad passed a polygraph ... I use to believe they were good tools but now I know they are not. It seems the worst of the worst can and do pass them. It is because they have zero remorse, guilt or shame for what they did. They are pathological liars and manipulators. Sociopaths. I didn't watch but wanted to share my expierence on the polygraph. Unfortunately my step dad now uses that to convince other family members he is innocent.

I remember seeing that show in it's entirety, I think there were other family members and friends that weighed in, not in the mom's favor if I remember correctly, and I remember thinking at the end of the show that the mom was lying through her teeth. I remember I came away thinking the mom either planted everything in her daughter's head as a means to try to get sole custody, or the daughter was molested by someone else, and the mom was blaming the dad to try and get sole custody, and would not even consider that it could be someone else.

I can't watch it right now. Is it the mom who was on Dr. Phil? I thought the same thing, especially because I video recorded my first real conversation with my daughter after she disclosed some very shocking things earlier in the day. Did I coax her? YES! But only in the first couple minutes. Have you ever tried to get a child to repeat something without shutting down??! omg....I wasn't filling facts into her head. I was just trying to get her to say what she briefly said earlier in the day. And then she started spilling the beans all on her own for the rest of the video. Our investigation was coming to a close because of lack of physical evidence and because the perp wasn't cooperating...and then I saw this clip/video on Dr. Phil. I couldn't help but think, shit....we just can't win can we.... :*-( Poor children

Maybe my viewpoint is skewed by my family history, but I really feel like they railroaded her! The dad reminded me of my pathological lying father...and did anyone else notice his extreme anger? If a man is that angry and tries to dismiss claims like what his daughter is saying so easily, it makes me a little suspicious! An innocent father would have been more concerned about his daughter's welfare than throwing his ex under the bus. There was another clip where all the things he says his daughter told him was posted: "mommy said blah blah." And 3 year old wouldn't not have worded things the way he claims, especially if you compare it to the videos. And speaking of videos, I really don't understand how she was coaching the girl when she asked open-ended questions and the girl responded of her own accord including physically?! This case reminded me of a woman from my childhood who cried to my mom because every weekend she had to send her little 4 year old daughter to her husband's for visitation knowing that according to her daughter, her ex, and in laws would sexually abuse this child! Apparently, bladder infections, anxiety and discharge wasn't enough proof to the courts to prevent her from having to visit. I felt so bad for that mom and felt her desperation...I watched another clip with a different mom who had accused her husband and DO think she was lying, but this blonde mom seems to be telling the truth. I guess the thing I can't wrap around my mind is Dr. Phil's lack of concern for what I see as clear symptoms of a sexually traumatized little girl?!

I remember seeing that episode and I thought the mom was an attention-seeking b****. She did coach that little girl IMO.

I can't even watch stuff like this anymore. If the child has been hurt, I hope she gets help.

Relying on Dr Phil like he's some "Wizzard of Oz" who magically uncovers the truth is like believing the National Enquirer.
Why pay money to go to real doctors and experts when you can have the truth found out by a talk show host?!?!
I believe that the polygraphs reliability is at it's very best reliability 69% - and that's when you're using the most skilled CIA guys to interpret the test. Dumb it down from CIA to local doughnut shop police guy and you probably got a 50/50 shot.

The "no lie MRI" which has a greater accuracy than the polygraph.
Again the criticism of this test is just like our member said above. They're not sure if a skilled remorseless liar can pass the test.
