A group that tries to share with each other how they deal with being a good supporting parent of a prisoner and the unique problems that arise. What to share or not, how to deal with spouse of prisoner, ex-spouse of, children of prisoner which we may not see either anymore,so forth
can anyone give me some advice? My daughter is in state prision in PA on drugs. We are wanting to sell our home in PA and buy a house in South Carolinia. I want to have my daughters parole switched from PA to Southcarolina to save her life and get her away from all the drug friends where we are living. Have her start over and pray she makes better disisions. Trying to save her life. How do I get her parole switched to SouthCarolinia? Has anyone done this? Does anyone have any advice?? Please help me help her!
For anyone coming in much later after this post. If you have the same question, there appears to be an interstate agreement to allow for this.

We are asking for treatment, (again), to be included in his sentencing. Hoping he can leave the state also.
In the end...it's up to him to get clean and choose a different life and work a program.
