I don't think anyone is here.... Just like the rest of the stuff about "Kids in Prison," it seems to all be outdated information. Let me know if you find something new.
As far as your adult son living with you.... my daughter will be 30 years old when she gets out of prison. I have thought about letting her come to live with me, my husband, and our other kids. However, I don't know what would be best. Prison seems the type of place to harden the child you once knew... and who knows what they will be like when they get out. My husband thinks it is best to let her work for a place to live because that is real life, but I don't know.

My wife and i are in the same boat. My 25 year old stepson will be coming to live with us soon. What concerns us is that our impressionable 14 year old is there. Our plans are to make sure that he gets counseling, and find a job. Also, we will have a strict discussion concerning rules in our household.
I understand what Cissy is going through. If her son is like my stepson, he has made a pattern of making bad decisions. We love and miss him, but his bad decisons negatively impacted our family and contradicted everything we attempted to instill in him. The stress he caused on the family was at times unbearable. Also, I believe that at a certain age, a man has to act like a man and not a child. He should be living on his own making his own decisions.
