A group that tries to share with each other how they deal with being a good supporting parent of a prisoner and the unique problems that arise. What to share or not, how to deal with spouse of prisoner, ex-spouse of, children of prisoner which we may not see either anymore,so forth

Hello Everyone, It is a beautiful clear sunny day in Southern California. It's going to be a great weekend. HIghs in the 80s. This is perfect weather for us. Not too hot! This weekend the grand and I are going to participate in a garage sell to help one of my friends that desparately needs to get rid of some stuff. It will be be interesting. We also have basketball which is something little lady loves to do. I told her maybe one day she will play for the WNBA and make us both some money:>) I put some money on my son Sherwin's books this morning. He sent me an email to say thank and that he loves me. He has 2 more years to go. Have a great weekend.

Hi all,
Headed south today from Portland Or to Atlanta, Ga....gonna hit snow in between the two I do believe, but that's ok. I ordered my son, Jesse, a couple magazines today to try and help brighten his world a little. Everyone have a good weekend where ever you are!

Hi, girls! It's still Friday here in the Fort....Lauri, Eddie discovered a magazine called "The Week" ....comes straight to the prison from the publisher...50 issues was $39.00 I think that is a bargain! I even mentioned getting it cheaper (it was $50.00) and they said well we can do it for $39.00 Nice people...It's less than $1.00 per issue and Eddie loves it....Kinda like "People"...full of news, entertainment, etc...Let me know if you need their ph #....Love, Barbara

Barb, I would love that for Ariane...sounds perfect...it is so hard finding a good magazine for her. And hello all, it was a beautiful day her but I worked. Off to see Ariane tomorrow...supposed to be high 80's. I hope everyone has a good weekend and Lauri, safe driving ok?? love you, sharon

hey barb, that sounds great, yea please send me the info. Is there a website to check out? Thanks! I got jesse Prison Legal news this week cause no one there gets it anymore. It was 24.00 for incarcerated for a year. It is actually written by ex-prisoners and has alot of information in it. Love, Lauri
