Sometimes we have to decide to accept reality. Our kids don't always love us as much as we love them or want them to love us. But there is hope and help for healing. Many good parents, loving parents, have estranged children.

This is a good response learning to accept is the most difficult. You want to believe there is hope for change but sometimes what is going to be will be.

I try, I give up, I try; I'm in the give up stage and now will probably stay here. At 73 I'm happy to be taking good care of myself .... it all works out. Family has always been paramount my whole life. My friends are great. my kids are my kids .... my strength now is listening to god and nature ...

I am ready to give up..You try and give try and give more..I have not much left ..
