I'm trying to find my son a therapist because he's out of controll. Because of the insurance that my husband has through his union, the nearest place that is taking patients in the next state over! I guess the only one that can help my family now is God.

I believe in God and have prayed for my son as well as my sanity thousands of times as I am sure a lot of others on this site have...we are still struggling with our ADHD kids. This won't go away and it won't get better without help. If the drive isn't too far, you may want to take the time to drive to the therapist the insurance covers. Call them first to interview so you aren't disappointed when you get there. Have your husband submit a request to add a therapist to their plan that is in your area. I see you are from Oregon, are you near Portland? Pacific University has a program and they bill on a sliding scale. I found this by going into the 211 directory. I even called for you and the pay scale depending on your income is $20-$85 a session.
