After a few weeks on Intuniv now, I've decided I should probably call the pediatrician tomorrow. My son got very upset today and had a temper tantrum that was out of control. Throwing things, stomping, kicking the door, and he even pushed me. He used to get upset like this occasionally before the meds, but didn't normally push me. Although sometimes he would try. I have been told that his concentration with his work is much better and I agree with that. He never really got tired on the 2 mg pill and I'm wondering if we need to try 3, or if the 2 is too much and he needs 1. Or perhaps we need to find a new psychiatrist (last one didn't take our insurance) and see if he needs something different. Today was a hard day. I started crying because it was just so difficult to see him get this upset again. I thought that this was over and I really want him to be able to remain calm for his own benefit. What do you guys think? Anybody had experiences like this? My child has some adhd but is also very moody so I was hoping the Intuniv would help that. Thanks all! I take any advice I get!
