I don't like my son! He is an evil little demon. He can't be reasoned with! He won't learn principles. He just makes my life miserable! Sometimes I wish I could shoot him in the face! He is awful and a I can't stand him.

I really understand that everyday life is a struggle but I dont know how you could say that about your child. That was pretty harsh. My son gets me very frustrated sometimes but I could never say those things. I think maybe you should all get some kind of therapy fast.

I read this post early this morning and I started to make a reply then but didn't because I thought maybe this was a joke or something. Ackg I totally agree with you! Our kids are not demons and I would never want to shoot them in the face or think bad thoughts like this. Every day can be a struggle but you take charge and learn from every tantrum. GET HELP ASAP!

I would never hurt my son and I do love him. It's just that he is unrelenting in his behavior. He is extremely manipulative and cunning. I have had another nervous breakdown and he still doesn't get how his behavior affects me and others around him. I have tried to explain it to him but nothing sticks. I have tried to have a good relationship with him but he always turns it around to be all about him.

I also agree that it can be very, very frustrating and day-to-day life is difficult but I am extremely concerned at the statement that you made. I strongly encourage you to see a counselor as soon as possible, if you aren't already, and good luck!

I'm sorry about what I said about my son. It had been a very stressful summer and back to school with him. He nags and yells at me constantly. A few days ago he called me, "pathetic". He is extremely demanding. I had a nervous breakdown because of the stress a few days ago. He is angry at us because we are making him clean up his room which I have had to help to try and get him started. He's barely budging. This isn't an ordinary messy room. It looks like a garbage truck came up and dumped garbage in there. He had taken knives out of the kitchen into his room. He got some matches from his grandma's house and was burning things. My son scares me.
