Thank you, Cardinal. We surely need to do this often and give ourselves a "pat on the back." Being the mother of an addict is emotionally draining. We need to take time for ourselves and see that we have value in this mess called life.
Wenmom -- I love it when you called yourself "brave." We moms ARE brave, aren't we?! This "walk" takes an enormous amount fo courage. Although there are days when we feel very, very weak, we have to admit -- we HAVE been very brave to go through the stress and trauma of watching our children suffer. Good stuff!! Karen K.
