I'm first reaction is these are "big people" questions.
I prefer the questions begin with, "Hey, what are ya goin' do if....."
"Hey, what are ya goin do say if....?" (This helps them to practice the words that will be given to them."
Question 5 is an example of what I'm talking about.
Perhaps others think these questions are great and that's good.
My opinion.
What to read other replies.
So, perhaps a truth or myth questionaire... then your role would be to explain "Can we Talk, the truth about drugs"
Here are some examples... Again the choices are True/False.
1. Marijuana isn't a drug
2. Alcohol is a social drink, it's okay to drink.
3. It isn't against the law to use prescription drugs I find in my parents medicine cabinet?
4. Prescription drugs are safe.
5. Heroin users are more likely to die than any other drug user.
6. Hugging is cheap, fun and isn't harmful.
7. There is no such thing as an "addictive personality"
Then at the end, perhaps you can have the students sign a contract agreeing to ask their parents any questions they have about drugs, before they try them so they can make an informed decision. Remember, this is about your life, not a just a moment!!!
Anyway... you get the idea.
1.I can try it and stop like my friend did.
Maybe the fear of knowing that some people are unable to stop would put some fear into it??
I can remember my son saying "I can stop anytime I want to..." True or False?
