Thank you I appreciate the comments. It is good to find others that understand what we go through. Being a parent..it tears a piece of us apart too. We have to make decisions we never thought we'd ever make with our adult kids. I saw my son yesterday and found a caring friend (old friend, and out of the blue).who wants to try and help my son. I saw him clean ... for once .. and he spoke to my friend. I could see he was confused but I haven't heard him speak about his life so much before..in years. I'm hopeful and praying for him daily. I'm allowing hope to slide in a bit! 


I'm still figuring out this new site. Bless you all and Happy Mother's Day to the moms on here! ❤

Just keep giving your son support but do it out of love and not guilt. Parents tend to blame themselves for their kids poor choices and end up carrying a burden that is not theirs to carry.

    check out that smoke ring. It tasted really good. I smothered it with Maulls BBQ sauce which is Local to St. Louis and one of the best I ever had.....

     I was recently separated from my wife of 33 years and it's complicated. Anyway I rented a room about 15 minutes away and I see my kids about once a week. I see the people who own the house I live in once in a while but other than that I stay in my room where I do my cooking, wash dishes in the shower, read, color, and sleep. I get out at least once a day. I grocery shop and I attend 2 meetings...
