Good Afternoon, We all never think we would ever deal with addicts we see them on the streets and its a wake up astonishing thing when our own child(children) are addicts. I lost a daugher 13 months ago to the upheavals of depression/addictions. Then I have another daughter who has been addicted for 8 years throught the years I almost lost myself in grief worry etc.... This daughter thats still alive I wish I could snap my fingers and she would snap out of this self-destructive behaviour.

In a matter of minutes lives can change...my life changed when I lost my first-born its a grief that will never end. Then I have a new grief that I may get that "phonecall" on my youngest daughter. Its a never ending cycle something as parents of addicts we cannot fantom to begin to understand. I have friends that are dear to me. I am working full-time as an Elementary/Secondary Principal.

I wish the sun would shine again in my life I am scared everyday she was doing good last two weeks because she went to detox herself and now she checked out and is relapsing again for the (I lost count now)

For all the mothers out there just pray thats what I do and I hve faith in my higher power I do,
