I need somewhere to talk and vent I am so frustrated, sad, hurt, and angry right now. My husband and I have been married for more than 6 years and have two daughters together 5, and 2. My husband has a son from a previous relationship who is 14. Over the spring break holiday over two weeks ago, my 5yo was staying the night at her friends house across the street. While watching a children's movie, my daughters's friend relayed to her mom something my daughter had told her. I found out the next day when my neighbor came over and told me everything she heard. She said my 5yo had admitted to her that her half-brother my sterpson, who would watch our two girls for 30 min a day (while my husband and I played tag team in coming home from work and me going in to work). (Another side note he was 14 and I had started babysitting at 12, so I didn't feel there would be too big of a problem. ) My 5yo told her friend that her brother had made her lick his private area. When I first heard this I was in shock.We called Child Serrvices right away to report what had happened. Luckily my stepson was visiting his bio mom over spring break in another state, and wasn't around while this state of shock was going on. The case manager told us that my ss would not be allowed to live in the house while the investigation was going on. This investigation seems to be moving so slow btw. My ss admitted it after my husband questioned him, he is now staying at my parents house, which I know is tough on them.My ss's mom does not know yet she has never really been there for him, and my husband is afraid that their son will just get left untreated if under her care. However, I don't think I could ever live under the same roof as my ss. My two yr old is too young to give me any info, but now I fear something could have happened to her as well. I am so frustrated. My husband and I have had a good marriage up until this point. But I will never let my daughter's security come second hand again, and am not sure my husband and I will be able to make it after this. We are going to try to go through counseling, but everything seems to be moving so slow, and the hurt is still there for me. I know my husband is ready to move on because my ss needs attention to, But I don't know where I stand on that. When my 5yo had her forensics interview, it was discovered that this had happened several times, and him touching her private parts too. I am soooo sick to my stomach. What do I do? My chilfren come first, but can a marriage survive after this?
