April 26th 2010 i found out that my daughter was molested by her father. That night I called CPS. A few days later the SS worker came to her school out an investigator from the state troopers. She told them what she told me and some more stuff. They called me after they spoke to her and said they find her to be very creditable. Next they brought him in for questioning. He would not admit to it. I did not think he would. I was told that these cases are hard to win. The trooper took the info to the DA. The DA has started talking to her. He don't want to push her to fast. But in the mean time the court agenst the word of 3 lawyers ( my lawyer, The child's lawyer and DSS lawyer) granted him visits. Every other week 1 hour at DSS and the other week 4 hours at his place watched by his parents. His parents think I put her up to it. Like I would ever say that kind of stuff in front of my child. We now go to counseling once a week. I don't even no what to say to my councilor that will help. I feel like nothing will help. When I go to bed at night all I think about is what she told me. She is only 5. What kind of person could do that to there own child? My fiancee is doing his best to try to be there but he is just as hurt because he has been helping take care of her for the last 3 years. What is wrong with this world to where a judge sends a child back to the place all this happened. Regardless weather some one is there. Now she is acting out and I cant say anything to her because it could jeopardize every thing. But im the mean time I feel like its making things worse by not talking to her. I guess I just needed to vent this all out to a place where we have all been through it and every one understands.
