Favorite books for Toddlers?

I always enjoyed reading books as a child and still do. I am trying to instill that same passion for reading in my son. We have some favorite books, but I wondered what some of you like to read your kids?

Here are some of our favorites:

1. If you Give a Moose a Muffin
2. Where the Wild Things Are
3. In the Night Kitchen
4. Goodnight Moon
5. Love You Forever

i always liked
1. Stand back said the elephant, i'm going to sneeze
2. fox in sox
3. hop on pop (my daughter's fav)

these are just a few, and now my daughter likes to "read" to her brothers. she just makes up the story but they don't know the difference and they sit for a little while and listen.

my three year old little girl loves the book Too Many Monsters ( we have read this like 100 times)

Both my kids are big Dr Suess fans. My daughter is really into Mr Brown Can Moo Can you?, Marvin K Mooney and Wocket in my Pocket. The really long ones are too much for her right now, but she likes the shorter ones.

4. Your Personal Penguin (we got them each a stuffed pengiun to go with the book-they love it!)

Okay, I'm going to stop...they love books so much, if I keep going it'll just be annoying!:)
We're really big readers is our house, so it means the world to my hubby and I that our girls love books so much.

LOL... I had to stop writing too because I could keep on going. He has so many books, and we both love them all.

He also loves Sandra Boynton's books too. Moo, Baa, La La La; Oh My Oh My OH Dinosaurs, Barnyard Dance, and many others.

I often come in to his room and he's "reading" his books too. It's so cute. I think he has most of them memorized and can finish the sentences on most of the pages.

I'm obsessed with children's books, so we have hundreds! Probably because I get tired of reading the same books over and over. Here are some of my 3 and 4 year old's all time favorites:

Roger Priddy's My Big Animal Book, It's just pictures, but I make all of the animal sounds and he's getting good at making them, too.

I've gotta second Cali, who said Sandra Boynton books--they're great! Something about the rhyming, and how it sounds to Cole--he just loves it. Some other good ones by her: BellyButton Book, Wake Up (?), Snuggle Puppy. We read them over and over and over and over....I also like "Love You Forever," but I pretty much cry everytime I read it, so am laying off that for now.
