you know it is pretty bad when you come to a group and open yourself up to try and get support. Well I am on alot of other groups on DS, and I must say they are alot more welcoming and supportive than this one. I have not got one reply to my NEW MEMBER post. So aprently this is a little click gruop like in high school or you people do not care about anyone except yourself and your problems.
I do not think I want to be part of such an unwelcoming group. I have gotten more feed back from my dogs than I have from the people on this group. I need not say any more.

Wow. You know, you wrote your original post on 10/18, just this past Sunday- 4 days ago. My first post here in this group took 9 days to get a reply.

How sad you aren't patient enough to give anyone a chance and judging them. Each 'group' on DS is different in their response time. And I think that not everyone has time to read every post and reply. It's a hit and miss thing and sometimes it takes a while to get replies.

I don't think it's a click like High School at all, and I'm sorry you think so. I hope you can forgive and move past it so it doesn't leave you bitter.

Hi, I joined this group awhile ago. I dont think anyone is ignoring or being clickish. It just does not seem to be one of the most active groups.. IMO.. Perhaps a group should be started for parents of teen where it is strongly suggested it be checked at least once a week? I dont even check on it anymore as there is not much new.. I will check if something pops up in the daily digest.. Hang in there, become friends with those you feel comfortable with, response time might be faster. God bless

Well, as the parent of a teenager myself, I would have welcomed you if I'd seen it, but as his only parent, I have been rather busy driving hundreds of miles to fetch him home from college because he is so sick. Also, I have lupus, and don't always have the energy to check every single group that I belong to every single day. So please don't call me unwelcoming or clicky, I am neither.

Hi slrow, i think its good that you posted this. If theres anything bothering us then we should say, i have wondered in the past if people have ignored me, i think its happened to most on here so good on you for bringing it up. I hope you still participate in discussions. Some of us come and go or dont get alerted to some topics so dont take a lack of response personally ok :o)
