This community is focused on the joys, challenges and concerns faced by parents of teenagers (12 to 18 year olds). The major areas of child development include: physical development, perception and sensory development, communication and language development, cognitive development, emotional development and social development.
I just got a call from my SO, he said my sister was hollering at my children really loud, cussin at them and making them cry.
aaaah!!!! why this have to happen to my children, why can't my children be around people who are normal.
Why people have to be abusive to people they love. It makes me so mad at her, I can't trust her around my children, yet I know she loves them, just really messed yp in the head.
sigh....My children love her too, when she not around they ask for her, I just can't stand that she verbally abuses them, all the time.

Our upbringing was similar, so I know why she is the way she is, but I just wish she saw things in the same way I do. violence never solves anything.
