Parenting Teenagers (12-18) Support Group
This community is focused on the joys, challenges and concerns faced by parents of teenagers (12 to 18 year olds). The major areas of child development include: physical development, perception and sensory development, communication and language development, cognitive development, emotional development and social development.
If positive rewards don't work, some kids respond better to having things taken away if they don't do what they are supposed to. For my kids, losing the phone, TV or computer were usually effective. The message the kids get is that if the chores get done, then life is good. If not, life can be downright boring. Hang in there!
