I have put my foot down kind of...
babyrena
Well its been a while since I posted, a lot of changes at work, in the home, and in my life in general.
I have took the truck from my daughter last week, I think, time has flown by I can't remember when it was, but she was beligerent one evening and wouldn't let me use the car and we end up arguing about my living situation. She doesn't stay with me, so I only see her when she want money or some other thing from me. I just now realized that I am scared of her. I also came to the realization that she has the same abusive tendencies that her ex step father had towards me.
II wish things were different. I wish her growing up years were better than mine. But she had to grow up way fast.
A thought for everyone, If you ever watched Nightmare on Elm Street. The Character "Freddy" portrays a Child molester, I never knew that, so then after seeing that, I understood the whole movie and the story behind it and why the nightmare never ends. Wow! It helped me understand some of what my daughter went through. I will never understand completely, but I try because she is my daughter.
Well when she got beligerent, She was drunk, and there is no talking to anyone when they are drunk. Well it got to the point where I told her I was taking her to the police station, in our town there is no juvenile center, so they have to get sent to an place over 100 miles away. So When I told her what I was going to do, She reached over to the steering wheel and put it in park, and tried to take the keys out of the ignition. Well I talked her into allowing me to pull to the side of the road and I got out and slammed the door and told her take the truck because I couldn't handle her threats,a nd I just walked on home. It was very scary for me. Because she threatened to beat me up. I am not physically strong, and she is about 100 lbs heavier than me. I was so scared I just walke over the hill to home. When I got there she was there picking some stuff up, I let my kids go with her and she headed on over to her grandma house. Well i called my ex and was venting to him when he asked where the children were, when I told him they left with her, he hung up and called the police to turn her in.
I didn't want the cops involved because I was scared of what she might do to me. Well any way, I used the police to get my truck away from her and told her not to come around me anymore, the police gave her a good talking to.
We had to go to court yesterday, she is required to listen to me, and also has to be enrolled in a school which she hasn't been doing. And she has to quit drinking.
Whew! Well its only day one and she is doing ok, but she is dry heaving, and she has been cutting herself, that is one of the characteristics of a sex abuse victim. Also she hasn't been able to sleep, so we are going to get her some melatonin to help with that, I have really worked at getting her to deal with her pain with out strong pain meds. I believe pain meds are not a healthy way to deal with pain and She is young and able to deal with pain now. So she is working on that. I am proud of her for that.
It's a tough road raising up a young lady in this day and age. There are so many dangers and influences in todays world.
I am hoping our road to healing is beginning. It seems dark and really unfixable, but I try to keep a positive thought in there.
I make sure and give her a lot of encouragement, and make sure to let her know I love her and pray for her all the time.
Hopefully turning her into the police and making her go before a juvenile judge has made a difference. Its so hard for me to stand my ground. But I am doing it.
ok that is all I have to share. thank you
