Parenting Teenagers (12-18) Support Group
This community is focused on the joys, challenges and concerns faced by parents of teenagers (12 to 18 year olds). The major areas of child development include: physical development, perception and sensory development, communication and language development, cognitive development, emotional development and social development.
It just seems to me that he needs professional care, mental health care. Why would he lie all those times? He feels that it is the only way to get emotional connectivity to you. He wants, demands a friend that won't judge him. You are probably the only person in his life he feels that he can count on. So hang in there. When he is hitting you, pushing you away, cussing at you, threatening you, those are the times in my life and all teenagers lives that you need that person the most.

p.s. i was physically, emotionally and sexually molested for 8 years by my grandfather. I tried to tell. No one could or would hear. Listen to him. He is saying volumes in his actions.
