Sorry for thethe long post, I just need some idea of what could be going on.
My 3 year old son is potty trained. Three and a half weeks ago he was sick with a really runny nose and an awful cough that eventually cause him to gag and vomit. He saw a doctor who prescribed him zyrtec and omnicef. It all helped him a lot, about 4 days into the treatment he started to have diarrhea. He was pooping 6-7 times a day, it was never watery, but ranged from gigantic and smooth to feathery chunks the size of a quarter/bm, he has also had 4 bm's that were not brown at all, they were white/clear and literally looked like s'not. Last week, which was 1and1/2 weeks into this diarrhea fiasco, I called his pediatrician to see if I should bring him in or what I should do. They just told me it was probably toddlers diarrhea and to just watch him until the end of the 2 week period, if nothing were to change then bring him in. Well at the end of 2 weeks his poop had changed to adult sized but he was still going 3 times a day. I figured he was doing better. I was wrong. The very next night my little guy was calling me from the bathroom at 230am for mommy to wipe him. So I called his doctor today and he now has an appointment for tomorrow. At first I thought it was the meds causing the diarrhea but for pete's sake he's been off of them for 2weeks! I just want to know what it could be before going to his doctor tomorrow. That is something that gives me piece of mind, instead of not knowing. If anyone has any ideas please let me know. I've tried googleing, it hasn't really helped. Lol. If anyone has also gone to a doctor for unexplained diarrhea could you tell me what they do at an appointment? Like I said I just want to know what to expect.

The only time my daughter had something similar was when she got 2 gastros 1 week apart uhg
