This person can show him how a ma does it, and make him feel like big boy,
Reward and take away, but no fussing at him, that only makes him retreat to his corner.
He might be jealous of the baby and you admit spending more time with the baby, So he knows if baby wee's and poo/s then he gets hug, and baby does it in his diapper. But why can;t that happen to him?;
Admire him for being big brother, Say you need his help. you and he devise a small chart to record wee's and poos, he can color it then hang it by the toolit
When he does one he gets one treat A small toy, candy , and when he goes in his pants, he has to give the toy back, Just might work
If he is ill it does not count.

My grandson is 4, and he just finally got it !! And still there are accidents when he is ill, distracted by toy or tv, in a hurry and forgets...

No I did not potty train my grandchild in two days but she was well on her way . It took a couple more weeks until she was completely potty trained. Here is one mother's experience with potty training her child. I find it helps to read other parents experience with potty training. Good luck to you http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mommy-nearest-/how-i-survived-the-potty-training-process_b_5551451.html
This is just my experience but trust your gut. Your kid will do it when hes ready. Have patience and just meet your son where he is. Give yourself a break too. I know alot of people do it in a couple days or a week with their kids and thats awesome. That would never work with my daughter for her personality and the fact of having a new baby to take care of I didnt have the time to oley focus on training.
There is a light at the end of the tunnel. I have been where you are and I know it gets better. Dont worry what others think. You know your kid and what works best for you and him.
Good luck. ;)
