Hello my son is 5. We did not go through with getting him circumcised when he was an infant. I hear so much on how things should proceed naturally. My son's foreskin isnt retracting. Is it okay that he is 5 and it's not changed? I've read some advice columns where they are teenagers and it's retracting and others where docs saying at my son's age they would need to do surgery. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm the odd one out with this decision and know no one uncircumcised.
I have three boys. None are circumcised. They're all developing at a different pace, penis and all.
I think it depends on how much they play with it. :)
My oldest could retract at 2 1/2 years and did, alllll the time.
My twins are 4 and one of them can retract partially.
My other twin I don't think retracts at all yet. I've never seen him do it. He only ever seems to touch it when he goes to the bathroom.
