My DD spits up EVERY time we put her on her tummy. She's 12 weeks now, but this has been going on probably since like 5-6 weeks. It doesn't matter how long ago she ate.

If I recall she has reflux right? Then I would think its totally normal. My DS hates tummy time and spits up too.

My Son almost always spit up during tummy time the first few months

My DD is 18 weeks and spits up quite a bit during tummy time. I thinks its a combination of the pressure on their tummy since the lifting of their backs pushes down on their tummy and just the muscular strain of doing what they are doing. I know they also get a lot more droolie at the 3 month mark and I think it gets thicker when combined with milk which means they have a fair amount to milky drool in their throats. I would say as long as it doesn't bother your baby, don't worry about it.

My twins, now 11 months old, spit up quite often, and during tummy time was no exception. We had bibs on them constantly because they could spit up anytime after within 2 hours after finishing their bottles. Have your LO do tummy time before bottle I would suggest not after. Also my kids have no reflux issues they just would spit up!

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus).
