Parenting Newborns & Infants (0-1) Support Group
Feeding your infant and ensuring they are getting enough nutrition is one of the most important aspects of parenting during that first year. This community is dedicated to those who are nurturing a baby, whether breastfed or formula-fed.
I don't recall yoru birth story, but I had a TRAUMATIC delivery and a huge super long and deep tear. I was pulling stitches out of myself for MONTHS afterwards. I think that made things longer for my "hoo hah" to recover from! I not only feel better now during sex, but in general the ecosystem feels like it's "settling down" again. I will say that breastfeeding (I quit at 3 months) also made me VERY VERY dry which can complicate matters. Perhaps a good ole' fashioned lubricant is in order to try and help things along.
I found that each period I had made my 'lady business' (I'm cracking myself up with these metaphors) feel better and better. I"m having my 3rd one now and I feel better today than I did two days ago. I think it's just a healing PROCESS and even my doc said that recovering from birth can take some women up to 9 full months at times.
Am waiting for first period before going back to dr and hoping that once the bf is less my hormones will revert to normal.
There's no infection but I am sore at the front more than at the back where my stitches were.
