my daughter is three and a half months and lately she has been showing signs of teething. shes irritable, her cheeks are red and she has the runs. the thing is, ive never seen poop this runny on any teething baby, is it normal to be so thin its like water? no diaper can hold it all right now...im running out of diapers and all her clothes are getting stained!
i don't want to take her out in the -40 weather we have been having and into a doc office full of infected people unless i have to.

my son gets the runny poops before a tooth breaks through.

it is possoble that get is teething. my sons started teething at 3 months and his first tooth didnt come in until he was 6 months. you could always call your doctors office and ask if they feel it is necessary to be seen

I've never seen runny poop as a teething symptom - I'd call the doc. It sounds like she's got a virus and maybe they could call in a script etc if you need one.

My DD is teething and her bowel movements have been looser during this time but not the consistency of water. Your baby may be teething but I agree with kbdid and I would have her checked out. Babies can get dehydrated very quickly. Hope she is better soon...

maybe it's teething related, but the red cheeks and irritability (at such a young age) sound more like she has irritated sinuses maybe. And if there is any drainage THAT could cause her to have diarrhea poo.
