My twins were sleeping a lot at 7 weeks about 18- 20 hrs a day I'd say. They loved their naps took a morning afternoon and evening nap and then bedtime. They were really only up to eat and look around a bit.

That is about the time my little one started staying awake more. She would wake up, get a new diaper, eat and then hang out for about an hour, then eat again and go to sleep, so total awake time about 2 hours and sleep between 1 to 2 hours.

My daughter is 2 weeks old and has been wide awake since 6pm looking around and googling her eyes. She's eaten three times and hasn't gone to sleep yet. I still can't believe she is wide awake! I hope maybe she'll sleep more tonight but I know it's wishful thinking on my part...hahaha! :-)

What? My son is 7 weeks and he barely sleeps! Well, I should say, he doesn't sleep very much during the day BUT he has been sleeping through the night...by through the night I mean 10pm-5-6am.
I bathe him, massage him and give him a warm bottle of bm and he is out! Should be a good thing but I find myself up checking on him all the time so I'm still not getting good rest!

I don't want to speak to soon, or jinx myself, but Dahlia has been sleeping 4-6 hours at a time at night! She's still not taking to her crib though, so she ends up sleeping on me, or on a pillow next to me, so I don't know if it counts as sleeping through the night if it's not in her crib?? During the day she's usually up about an hour after eating, then up about 40 minutes to an hour later to eat again. But sometimes in the day she'll take a 3 or 4 hour nap and I have to wake her to eat.
