Days like these makes me wish I was a runner. And even if I was, I'd have to give up sleep in the morning when dd is still sleeping to do it. And we all know how precious sleep is now days.

I love her and am a wonderful mom. I just feel sometimes like I can't do it. I get frustrated and then feel guilty. How many of you feel this way?

Teething has begun. I just want to cry!

And my husband wants to be intimate and I'm like, on top of dealing with fussy baby I have to do what? Feeling sexy is so far away right now...

I just want to run! Not AWAY, I just need a outlet for Gods' Sake! I want to scream the most vulgar words and purge!

Oh do I remember feeling like this :) It is normal and will pass. My baby is 1 year now, almost 13 months and I am *enjoying* every moment. I remember when I was getting so frustrated that he wouldn't sleep, nurse, stop crying. Now things are so much better. He is all smiles, we "talk" - he points at things and makes sounds and I talk back, we dance, we read stories and play with cars. Life is great now! You'll get there and things really lighten up when they start communicating a little and moving a little. Teething gets better too. I think during that first year they just go through a lot and it's all new to them - eating, sleeping, pooping, moving. They are frustrated and you get frustrated too. Taking some time off, just for 20 minutes to go buy coffee or take a short walk really helped me.

I feel like that too sometimes , especially lately, so i know how you are feeling! i'm always on the go, the only time i get to relax is when i pop on here and have a read, usually running around after everyone or falling asleep trying to watch something on tv lol..........xxHazelxx

It really does get better... by my calculations your little one is 3 months, almost 4? 12 weeks to about 5 months was by far the hardest for me. Then it got easier. Once she could sit up on her own, reach for things... napping got easier and her schedule evened out. I do recommend trying to find something that is just yours to do. I took up knitting and crocheting -- go to knitting and crocheting classes at nighttime through adult ed -- and they have kept me sane.

My daughter is 7 months, and I still feel like that. Even when she is being happy, laughing, babbling and moving around...I still get the urge to go be somewhere else.
I think sometimes it's that you are with your baby 24/7. My own personal experience, my SO doesn't help alot, if at all, and sometimes it feels like I have a needy third arm.
She has been teething for two months now, and not a tooth in sight. Also, my DD has ear problems that make her unusually cranky most of the time.
Everyone says it will get better...so I'm hoping and waiting!
