My five week old is being fed strictly formula- currently Parent's Choice Gentle formula, similar to Enfamil Gentlease. He'll have a bowel movement and immediately start pushing again. I've tried using gas drops to ease his discomfort, we also try to burp after every ounce to lessen trouble with gas. The grunting doesn't bother me but it appears to be painful for him and usually results in him crying and kicking, tightening his fists, etc. Any suggestions as to how to fix this issue or any other parents who've had similar issues? TIA!!!
