Can you put bugspray on a baby? My LO is 8 months, and where I live the mosquitoes and sand flies come out early and last all summer long in massive amounts. There's a celebration called the sandfly festival!

When in her stroller I will probably use a bug net, but there will be plenty of times when shes out of it.

What can and do you use?

I'm personally not comfortable using bug spray on my little one. I use 'Skin So Soft' by Avon and I love it so far. It really seem to work.

My daughter just had her 6 month check up and her pedi said it was ok now to use bug spray and sunblock...so I think you should be fine.
One baby friendly brand that I have heard of is California Baby.

We use the blue bug & sunscreen lotion from Skin So Soft from Avon and it seems to work pretty good and I was using it on her last summer and she was 6 months old.

I live in a small place, in Canada, so if I can't find these am I suppossed to stay away from DEET and such in sprays? We bought gallons of sun screen already, at costco, lol, and since it's already in the 20 above range here everyday the bugs and sun are starting to become daily occurences.

I don't think Family OFF has deet. We use that and it seems to work fine!

his site is a tad annoying but people rave about the bug spray and sunscreen.
