My DD is 33w and I have her a fluoride drop for the 1st time last night. We don't have fluoride in the water where I live. This morning her skin was red and blotchy....entire torso, arms, and legs. It wasn't rough or textured....just blotchy. Allergy? I didn't see her itching her skin or anything. She woke up through the night crying, but she's also bringing a tooth in....so I'm thinking that is what was waking her up.
She has had water with fluoride in it before--we bought nursery water to go on a trip once and then where my grandmother lives (3 miles from us), there is fluoride in that water--no reaction before. But, she was getting a days worth in single drop. I'm thinking of just filling up water jugs at my grandma's house and using those for her bottles instead of using the drops....
thoughts? allergy you think? should I try the drop again tonight and see what she looks like in the morning before drawing a conclusion?

She also said it may be a good idea just to fill up water for Grace at my grandma's house...who does have fluoride in her water.
It's one thing after another with little ones!! I'm going to resign myself that for the next 40 years I'm going to have something to worry about :-/
