My husband thinks the FBI is after him ...

... and I don't know what to do. I've begged him to go to the doctor, he outright refuses. He won't take any medications, He won't go and talk to anyone, he won't ...

I'm at my end, how can I help this man who enjoys accusing me of working for a government agency?

be there for him to talk to. Even if you don't know what to say, he does trust you more than anyone else, and it helps him if he has someone to talk to. And also, doctors and others do work for the government so naturally he sees that association and is afraid that they're working with the FBI.

I'm saving money to take him to a doctor in Canada (we live in the US) I'm hoping this works.

He ... stopped talking, and started hitting. He seems like a rat in a cage, trapped. He gets violent with me and has been accusing our children of working for the government.

Yes, for our safety the children and I moved out of the house. But, he is my husband and I will do everything I can to help him.

Since he's now considered a danger to others and/or himself you could have him medically committed to a hospital for psychiatric treatment. Call a psychiatrist about this and then call the police to arrange it. it's rough but it's how people get better. I've been committed about 5 times already.

I honestly don't know how to help, buti can understand. My mother had a soem paranoid issues. If the phone rang and it was a wrong number or they hung up, it was either someone coming to rob the house or a woman after my dad. If i spilled food, I did it on purpose to upset her. Once I was blamed for her stepping on eitther a little pin or sewing neeedle that had some how fallen out of the sewing box. She thought I had deliberatly placed it where she would step on it and hurt her foot. When I said I had no idea how the pin got on the floor she said "That's between you and God".
