I have to have faith that this will pass and I will be functioning well again....or better than before. yoga, meditation, and journalling I am starting now too. It is the isolating part that is the most difficult and the loss of freedom....
So far, in my month of having severe anxiety and panic attacks, I've found the thing that works the best for me is to get into a routine. My first couple weeks battling this was filled with the holidays and taking time off from work because I was too weak and scared to do anything. I noticed on the days that I had doctor appointments or visitors and I had to take a shower, get dressed, etc. I felt a little bit better. Don't get me wrong, I still feel completely anxious when I'm doing these things, but just the simple act of getting ready for the day and having something set on the calendar seems to help.
I hope things start to get better for you (and me). I just want you to know that you're not alone in this. I go through periods every day where I just feel completely isolated, but you can get through those and remember there are people that care about you. Take care. I'll be hoping for the best.
