I don't want to scare you, but my 3rd son was 10 lbs, and I had alot of trouble with pushing. I had been trying for 2 hours and I started having a panic attack. They were trying to give me the oxygen mask, and I was hypervenolating (sp). The mask kept sticking to my face because of how I was breathing and I kept trying to pull it off with my hand. Once he was born I didn't take him for a couple minutes because I needed to calm down and cool off. I will always regret not holding him right away, but I couldn't breathe.
I don't think this will happen to you though, because it didn't happen with my other 3. I would reccoment an epidural, so you can sleep and relax while your in labor. Good luck.
