yes i have but then i think of my daughter! are you really willing to break your daughters heart by killing your self just over an panic atatck what wont hurt you? you cant let these beat you hunny! you have to beat them! i have sufferd for 11 years on and off!
its really horibble, but what you have to remember is you can beat this and you will!
i know that you would do it to be in control but there are people here to help and support you! have you tryed any help line, papers bags blowing into one of them helps an lot.
I would recommend the same course of action to Squarley. I am really sorry you guys keep feeling this way, and I do understand how it feels as I've been suffering from panic attacks for the past four years.
You said you splashed water on your face - I've done that too. Other suggestions I've heard and tried are holding an ice cube or sticking your finger in ice cream (yummy). One I really like is putting an orange in the freezer. Take it out during the attack and the cold helps, but also the scent and the texture of the orange help distract you from the attack.
Someone here said that panic disorder is simply a fear of panic. I don't see it that way. I can have a panic attack come on suddenly when I thought I was perfectly calm.
