Have you had a checkup recently? You might ask for your B12 to get checked; there has been some link between low B12 and panic.

question, do you have amalgam fillings? the silver kind? those are half mercury and may cause a metallic taste. in addition, since they are mercury and are poisonous they actually cause a lot of problems, including anxiety.
if you do have them, you may want to get them safely removed (i say safely b/c removing them incorrectly releases even more mercury than just having them in).
I thought I'd fish for possible solutions to my concerns here as you guys have frequently been relatively supportive. I know that I gotten a weird taste and sense of smell doing some of my panic attacks in the past, but since the smell was absent and my arms weren't feeling strange, I figured it was probably unrelated. It appears to be an isolated episode, but it if happens more often, I'll probably address my doctor...
