I'm also now on a whole cocktail of things so I'm much more hesitant to drink. Since I feel like I can't help it/have no control when I go out (because otherwise I'll be that miserable wet blanket in the corner), I just don't go out, so I can avoid drinking excessively.
Basically I understand how you want to go back to being a "normal" person (whatever that is -- but I feel it too). I hope things get better for you soon.
