If you are able to do so, therapy has worked nicely for me. I am also on medication for anxiety. I am not at a great stage with medication right now, but I am able to function most of the time.
If you don't have insurance or not able to afford it try reaching out for help by searching what local support or help you can get for this.
You can get control over your panic and it is so liberating.
Why are you losing your job? What are you worried about? Is there anything you can do to lessen your stress?
I see a counselor once a week and she is awesome. It helps me to vent and I have really grown a lot. She is an intern so her price is lower; that is how I have been able to afford it.

I get very anxious in cars. Especially if it's a long stretch of highway because I can'T get to help or even a toilet if I need one. I also dislike traffic because it makes me feel trapped.
But I still go in the car on the highway or when there is traffic. It is uncomfortable but I figure I need to face the fear to get better.
