let go of all excess muscle tension in body
I would get another doctor's opinion on this because sudden muscle weakness, which you are clearly having, could be from another autoimmune disease that could be just beginning. Many times people with one autoimmnue disease can get another, or they are misdiagnosed altogether. If you only deal with a GP, he might miss some of the signs of other connective tissue disorders. You could probably benefit from a consultation with a rheumatologist that specializes in these types of diseases, and they may have some other ideas on treatments.
shrinkingviolet - I currently see a dermatologist for my dermatomysositis, but it may be good to see a rheumatologist too. I saw one once. Just have to get health insurance to agree. *rolls eyes*
On the other hand, if it happens when you are trying to stand and take a step after sitting there might be some validity in the neurologist scenario.
A neurologist can do a simple test to rule out an electrical problem (often caused by a spinal disc degeneration).
Im sorry to hear this! Have you seen a neurologist? Dont feel bad. I fall at work almost once or twice each time I work and have at home. Sometimes I dont feel anxious but assume it has to be my anxiety because doctors cant find anything. It increases for me too with lack of sleep and the time of the month. Do you do any breathing exercises? If you want to private message me I can tell you more about exercises if your interested. I don't know if your legs experience different from me but mine will start being limpy or jolt. They have taken me down to fall too. I am here to support any way I can. Yes I agree with everyone that a go is a good idea. They may then refer a neurologist to make sure there isn't anything else going on. I try to take a moment to drink water ot stop what im doing if possible when i feel a fall. Sometimes symptoms go away or i hold on to something and am ok. Mostly i cannot control it. Working progress. I hope and pray you feel better.
it reduces the problems caused by panic attacks and can be taken only as needed
also reduces sweating and blushing caused by anxiety
