Yeah, once I'm awake I can pull myself through or out of it. But I want the dreams to go away!!
When I wake from these sorts of dreams now I do everything I can to get as fully awake as quickly as possible.
I looked night terrors, it's not that. It's just your average nightmares. I could set up my webcam to record and watch the last ten minutes of my sleep and see if I toss and turn or not. I think I don't, but in my dream I am tossing and turning. Make sense? It's just weird.
It does leave me emotionally upset when I awaken though. Cutting temptations today but I am determined not to give into that anymore.
I agree its best to make yourself wake fully, turn the light on and get up out of bed and move around
