I tried valium to help me relax at the dentist. It didn't touch my anxiety but Klnonopin did. I took Paxil for 10 years to keep my anxiety away all day every day and was never a fan of rescue meds like Xanax. I liked the evenness of being on Paxil rather than the highs and lows of anxiety I saw my brother feel with Xanax. Personal preference.
