Most people who have anxiety also have depression, so I thought I might share this with you.
I have heard this song for years, but never really paid attention to the lyrics. I am sure most of you know, this song is about depression.
Like Brad's girlfriend I would pray for rain.

Thank you. I always thought this song was about heroin. I think it was the "And it rips my life away, But it's a great escape Escape... escape... escape.." that made me think that.

Hi, thank you for sharing this song,ginjaninja, i have never heard it before,and i am a music lover. It does make one think. I will listen to it with the sound. Thank you for the link. I find that music does help me when i feel down, and depression and my panic attacks go hand in hand. You have been so helpful here in the panic attacks group, and i thank you for that as well.

I think depression comes from not having an outlet to release what you carry in your soul.

Depression can affect people in different ways, and not everyone has depression as bad as others. Depression is a hard thing to deal with,as anyone who has it knows. We all deal with our problems in different ways. For me,not only does music help me,but it is an outlet for me as well. As i understand how this post was wrote, the guy singing this song,wrote it for his girlfriend who had depression.So many i have heard who has depression,will try and hide it, with laughter,as a comic would. Try music,or poems, anything to help us with depression.You are not alone in this,there is help.
