I have had panic attacks that last for awhile. I am also dealing with a binge drinking problem though. About 4 months ago after a binge i experienced very severe panic that would last maybe 2 hours or so. Just a very strong tight feeling, overly excited sensation around the chest. For me It had gotten so bad that my heart would suddenly start racing uncontrollably and I actually took myself to the emergency room. They said everything was find and I need to stop drinking. The attacks persisted for maybe another month or so and subsided. Came back though when I started drinking again. Currently sober for awhile and struggling with anxiety and panic but not as severely as before. I get this buzzing, tingling feeling all over and almost feel ill. Very uncomfortable. I had heard that vitamins are only good if you have a deficiency and getting your vitamins through a source of food is best. Bananas are a great source of vitamin b. My numbness would usually come and go. If I slept, as soon as i woke up I would generally feel fine until i started doing things, getting ready for work and I would start feeling uncomfortable again. Doctors kept telling me that there is nothing wrong with me, that I need to address my anxiety/depression and most importantly quit drinking.

Akintoo30, I have the exact same feeling and problem, now I cant drink at all. I have had the same feeling in the chest but for me it is the day after a drink and is off and on for like a month. I have had panic attacks for the past 9 years and my last attack before a few weeks ago was almost 1 year ago. I had 3 beers at a BBQ and for the past 3 weeks I have been having anxiety and panic attacks. strange what helps me is watching youtube videos about panic attacks and reading about other people situations with attacks. I am glad I found your post because my sounds exactly like what you have. That strong tight feeling on my chest. I always have to stretch out my left arm no matter whatever I am doing. I thought after 1 year with no attacks a beer would not affect me but It put me right back where I was. So now I am hoping it will pass soon and I will not drink again.

Yeah I have issues with this too especially after introducing alcohol to my system the dya before. A beer or two or a shot wont do it, heavy drinking does. I am taking Gabapentin/Neurotin now which makes me not want the booze as much, actually has reduced my desire for it by at east 80% and I love my beer and whiskey..Te other night I had one beer last me an hour or more (shocking my friends and family wh were there) ..thats so not like me. Usually I would have had five in that time!Im new here btw nice to meet you all

heavy eating and drinking wears the body out but if you give yourself good rest you can recover to fully functioning again. just don't eat too little when you reclimb or you're in for toxic overload. don't worry about what you see in the mirror because that's not your weight, it's what's inside your man that helps figure that out and if your clothes look tight then just try to talk to God about your new attitude and say you hope He's not going to starve. try to go on a thinking diet where you don't think about heavy thoughts.
