You should tell your doctor you could be having side effects from the meds? Have you been taken your meds long? Did you just begin them? I think your doctor would be the nest to anwser this and perhaps adjust your dose or give you something else.

if you recently started the celexa it may be the cause but do see doc and write him a note in case you cant remember all you want to say

nausea and dizzines sure can be part of panic attacks but the numbness i am not sure of.I think it would be a good idea to see a doctor too to see if you are having a reaction.

One of my main symptoms is dizziness (or light-headedness) and i also get a strong tingling sensation in my face and elsewhere (which I guess could be described as very similar to numbness)

Carolyne, I am going through exactly the same thing you are right now. Three weeks ago, I was in the hospital Friday, Sat, Sun, and Sunday nite. Three of those visits were by ambulance. My face was numb, my arms were numb, my tongue was numb, I thought I was having a stroke. Although you have been on your meds for a long time, I must share with you what my counselor a few years ago told me. These meds are good for awhile, but evenutally they just mask the problem and your body gets immune. You really need to contact your doctor asap to let him know as these might be some side effects you are having due to the meds. On the other hand, when I started having attacks ten years ago, they were every day but with few symptoms, now that they have returned, I am getting more strong symptoms and an increased heart rate of 130 bpm along with. January alone, I had gone to the ER 13 times, and my regular Dr. 4 times. I have had blood work, CAT scans, EKG's, Xrays out the ying yang, and everything is normal normal normal. They even went as far as doing a full chemistry blood test and I did get two thumbs up for a great Cholesterol Level for being 38yrs old ; ). I do understand greatly what you are going through, and I wish you the best in getting better. I am a stay at home mom and will be on here frequently as I too need support, so please feel free to send me a message anytime. I would love to keep you company. Jenn

Are you by any chance taking B Vitamins with Niacin? I found it gives me the burning rush and anxiety. It was much more intense than the typical panic/anxiety and sometimes seemed to last forever.
