I do feel that repressed feelings can indeed cause anxiety and panic. They did for me and a few others that I know. The good news though, is that it is never too late to grieve. When you are ready to feel the loss it will happen. I have found it is not something you can rush.

Only you know if grieving will help with your panic and anxiety. So, grieve. Go through it and hopefully for you, it will work and will end the panic you feel.
