I have found that keeping soft, relaxing music on continuous rotation helped me a lot, because when you wake up in the anxiety, the first thing you hear is the music, and it's calming. It kind of "short-circuits" the anxiety.
I'm not sure what you mean about the anxiety being God speaking to you - and about your doubting everything - but I know that God doesn't use emotional suffering as punishment, if that's what you're alluding to - I believe He doesn't cause the suffering, but He can use it to help us learn things and become closer to Him -
