Your husband did the right thing. How sweet of him! Lots and lots of people with anxiety do not have support from their husband/boyfriend.
I also understand about the association part of it. Seems once you've had an attack someplace or due to a certain situation, then your afraid of that same scenario again and want to avoid it.
Haven't always been successful, but have forced myself to be in situations that caused anxiety in the past. Most often what you "fear" is going to happen, never does.
